I'm Lisa Barkley, a qualified integrative therapist with over three decades of experience supporting people. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach combines Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy, tailored to meet your unique needs.
I work with adults facing a diverse range of issues, including childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. My background in beauty therapy taught me the importance of helping people feel relaxed and confident, skills I now apply in my counselling practice.
With warmth and compassion, I'm here to support you in understanding yourself better, making positive changes, and rediscovering your inner wisdom. Together, we'll work towards helping you become the best version of yourself.
Therapy, or counselling, is a collaborative journey we undertake together. It's not about me "fixing" you, but rather us working as partners to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
